An audio tabletop RPG: interactive stories you play out loud
EchoQuest TTRPG is a screen-reader friendly, AI-narrated audio tabletop role-playing game. It is built audio first: the story is told aloud, every choice can be made by voice or keyboard, and the screen is optional.
Audio first, not audio added
Most games add narration on top of something you have to watch. EchoQuest starts from the narration. An AI Game Master voices each scene, sound cues mark discoveries and danger, and optional ambient sound sets the mood, so you can follow the whole adventure with your eyes closed.

Each official campaign page has a short transcript of real play, so you can see how the Game Master and the player trade turns before you start:
- The Long Watch — Wake up three years too early on a colony ship where a cryopod opened from the inside.
- Crimson Sands — Race a rival expedition into a buried empire where living glyphs still answer to blood and sound.
- EchoQuest Intro Campaign — A short fantasy campaign designed to be the first thing a new EchoQuest player runs — three nights in a rain-soaked village where the trees move against the wind.
Common questions
- What is an audio tabletop RPG?
- A tabletop role-playing game you play by listening and talking instead of reading a map or rolling dice on a table. In EchoQuest an AI Game Master narrates the story aloud and you say or type what your character does.
- How is it different from an audiobook or a podcast?
- An audiobook tells the same story to everyone. In an audio RPG the story waits for you: every scene ends with your decision, and the narrator continues from what you chose.
- What does the narration sound like?
- The Free tier narrates with your browser's built-in voices. The Storyteller plan adds premium ElevenLabs narration, with distinct voices for the characters you meet.
